Head of Programme & Asset Grading

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Programme & Asset Grading to play a pivotal role in delivering our Strategic Asset Management (SAM) strategy. This is a unique opportunity to influence the long-term future of our housing portfolio.

The role:

As Head of Programme & Asset Grading, you will lead a team responsible for analysing, reporting and driving insight across our strategic asset management programme. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will lead the reporting, analysis and delivery oversight of our strategic asset management programme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the reporting and analysis of the Strategic Asset Management strategy and programme.
  • Managing and developing the asset grading model to support investment and disposals decision-making.
  • Producing forecasts and cash flow projections based on anticipated disposals and portfolio performance.
  • Providing detailed programme analysis to assess the effectiveness of the SAM strategy, including stock condition improvements, liabilities reduction and one-for-one replacement outcomes.
  • Working closely with the Head of Disposals to support the execution and delivery of disposal programmes across multiple asset types.
  • Collaborating with Finance teams to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Delivering high-quality, insightful reporting and visualisations for senior leaders, boards and committees.
  • Leading programme governance activities, ensuring risks, dependencies and opportunities are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.
  • Maintaining and enhancing systems, models and datasets to ensure robust, accurate and reliable information.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including consultants, valuers, agents and sector peers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
