Your Role

• Contribute to strategic audits and reviews by providing valuable information and analysis.
• Prepare and complete gap analyses and audit plans, identify and resolve problems, and determine system improvements.
• Develop and implement quality management systems, and potentially train client staff.
• Validate supplier quality management processes using established procedures, document evidence, and determine operational and performance qualifications.
• Write and update quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain and improve quality through inspections, compliance assessments, and staff interviews.
• Collaborate with other management members to develop new methods and training procedures.
• Plan and participate in visits to various field, off-site, vendor, manufacturing facilities, and office locations.
• Support the preparation of project estimates and proposals, and participate in client proposal review meetings.
• Keep job knowledge up-to-date by studying trends and developments in quality management, participating in educational opportunities, and maintaining professional networks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting strategic audits and reviews, completing gap analyses, and developing quality management systems.
• Validating supplier quality management processes and documenting evidence.
• Maintaining and improving quality through inspections and compliance assessments.
• Planning visits to various locations and supporting project estimates and proposals.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in quality assurance/control, developing QMS, and working with inspection/testing/product conformity.
• The knowledge and ability to conduct different types of audits professionally, ethically, and objectively, using applicable standards and requirements.
• The ability to plan, develop, communicate, and execute an audit within a defined scope, including resource scheduling and conducting necessary meetings.
• Verification, documentation, and communication of audit results; developing audit reports; and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions and follow-ups.
• An understanding of how quality principles relate to business protocols and aligning QMS functions with the organization’s goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts, conduct interviews, and make presentations effectively.
• Strong process and analytical skills, the ability to interpret data, and determine courses of action.
• The ability to interact collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
• Strong networking, interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Knowledge of materials management systems (preferred).
