Job Role

Indie dance label Helix Records is looking for a Head of Promotions for UK & Europe. The role is based full-time in London and will include travel in Europe. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the music industry.

Job Role

  • Leading the Helix UK/EU promotions department across radio plugging, DSP pitching and club promotions for the international dance roster
  • Maintaining direct relationships with radio programmers, DSP editors, and DJs to maximise the success of Helix Records’ release campaigns
  • Executing UK/EU radio campaigns targeting playlist adds, spot plays, interviews etc. across key networks BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, 6Music, Capital, KISS, Apple Club Radio
  • Running UK/EU streaming promotions acting as the key point of contact for all DSP platforms (e.g. Spotify, Apple, Amazon, YouTube) and driving strong editorial support and wider opportunities
  • Managing DJ promotion strategy globally, overseeing internal-led campaigns and liaising directly with 3rd party companies
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Marketing, A&R, Marketing, Creative etc. to align release priorities, organise promotional activity, and communicate effective reporting

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in the music industry, specifically in promotions/DSP pitching
  • Proactive & highly organized with a strength in forward thinking & planning in advance of releases
  • Strength in networking
