I am delighted to be working exclusively with a highly successful residential property investor and developer in North London to recruit a Head of Property.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing business with an impressive portfolio and a constant flow of investment and development opportunities. The successful candidate will act as the driving force behind deal progression, project delivery, and stakeholder management, ensuring opportunities are efficiently assessed, approved, and delivered.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this pivotal role requires a commercially astute property professional who can confidently evaluate opportunities, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and oversee projects from acquisition through to completion. This is a hands-on leadership position offering genuine influence within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
The business generates a significant volume of acquisition and development opportunities and requires a strong operator to bring structure, commercial oversight, and momentum to the process.

You will be responsible for reviewing valuations, building quotations and development appraisals, making recommendations on potential opportunities, and taking ownership of approved deals through to successful completion.
Working closely with internal teams and external consultants, you will ensure projects remain on track, on budget, and aligned with the business's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess property acquisitions and development opportunities.
- Review valuations, feasibility studies, and building quotations.
- Present recommendations and commercial assessments to the Managing Director.
- Take ownership of agreed deals and oversee delivery from start to finish.
- Manage relationships with architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors and consultants.
- Liaise with banks, lenders, solicitors and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the finance and accounts teams on project budgets and funding.
- Coordinate internal departments to ensure projects progress efficiently.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team across property, housing and support functions.
- Implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard.

About You
- Proven experience in a senior property, development, or asset management role.
- Strong understanding of residential property investment and development.
- Experience managing acquisitions, refurbishments, developments, and project delivery.
- Excellent commercial awareness and decision-making ability.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work at pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.
- Comfortable operating within an entrepreneurial and fast-growing business.
