The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee property-related investment programs, cyclical works, and compliance within the context of UK health, safety, and building legislation.
  • Manage two senior personnel under your accountability.
  • Report directly to the Director of Property and Placemaking and ensure clear leadership, assurance, risk management, financial accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic leadership across all property activities with a focus on value for money, customer-centric outcomes, and planned investments.
  • Drive operational and service delivery improvements by implementing agreed-upon targets and strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine governance, accountability, and assurance procedures throughout all phases of investment and compliance.
  • Serve as the lead advisor on property matters to senior executives, elected members, board directors and the likes.
