About the Role
Ready to lead the future of Protection within a rapidly growing financial services business?
We're partnering with an ambitious, expanding financial services firm that's investing heavily in its Protection offering. As part of its continued growth, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Protection to drive strategy, lead a high-performing team, and help shape the next phase of its success.
If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional customer outcomes, building strong insurer relationships, and developing a market-leading Protection proposition, this could be the career move you’ve been waiting for.
Responsibilities
- Leading the firm's Protection strategy across Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Income Protection.
- Driving business growth while maintaining outstanding customer outcomes.
- Managing and developing a successful Protection team.
- Building strategic relationships with insurers and key business partners.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding Consumer Duty principles.
- Identifying new opportunities to improve products, processes, and customer experience.

Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within the UK Protection market.
- Strong knowledge of Life, Critical Illness, and Income Protection products.
- Commercial awareness with a track record of delivering results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative leader who enjoys coaching and developing people.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
