A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Head of Quality & Business Excellence within our Small Gas Turbines business, you will lead the strategy and execution of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with senior leaders, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operational teams, you'll ensure our products, processes, and services consistently meet the highest standards while driving a culture of operational excellence.
This is a highly influential leadership role where you'll shape the future of quality management, champion continuous improvement, and help deliver reliable, innovative solutions that support the global energy transition.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and all relevant regulatory and customer requirements.
- Drive business excellence through Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis to improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Lead internal and external audits, oversee corrective actions, and ensure robust governance across quality processes.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle and strengthen supplier quality performance.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Quality & Business Excellence team while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic quality reporting and performance insights to senior leadership, supporting informed business decisions and long-term operational success.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Significant leadership experience within quality management and business excellence, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality governance.
- Demonstrated success delivering Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement programmes that have driven measurable business results.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with experience leading cross-functional change.
- A strategic, analytical mindset with a passion for quality, operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams.

About The Team
Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We bring together gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and digital service solutions under one roof. Through modernization, digitalization, and innovative service offerings, we support customers worldwide in improving reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
The Quality & Business Excellence team plays a critical role in ensuring our products, processes, and services consistently meet the highest standards while driving continuous improvement across the Small Gas Turbines business. Working collaboratively across multiple functions, the team helps deliver operational excellence that supports both our customers and our long-term business strategy.
