Join us in shaping the future of Imaging at one of the UK's largest NHS Trusts.

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, values-driven radiography leader to join the Clinical and Scientific Services Clinical Group at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as Head of Radiography.

This is a highly influential senior leadership role at the heart of one of the Trust's largest, most innovative and complex Care Divisions. Working as part of the senior management triumvirate in Imaging alongside the Associate Director of Performance and Operations and Clinical Head of Division. You will have a pivotal role in driving excellence across quality, safety, professional practice and workforce development.

  • Champion quality, safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness, ensuring robust governance, risk management, incident learning, complaints oversight and compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional requirements, including relevant radiation protection legislation.
  • Lead and support radiography teams, creating an inclusive, compassionate and improvement-focused culture where colleagues feel valued, empowered and supported to succeed.
  • Drive professional standards, education, research, innovation and quality improvement across services, embedding evidence-based practice and developing the workforce.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, retention and professional development, ensuring radiography services are resilient, sustainable and responsive.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across CSS, the wider Trust and external partners, acting as a visible and approachable professional leader.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
