Head of Recruitment | Global Top-Tier Law Firm | London

Are you ready to lead recruitment strategy for one of the world’s most prestigious law firms? We are partnering with a globally recognised law firm to appoint a Head of Recruitment — a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the firm’s talent acquisition strategy across multiple practice groups and business functions. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced recruitment leader to join an organisation renowned for excellence, innovation, and its commitment to attracting the very best talent in the market.

The Opportunity

As Head of Recruitment, you will take ownership of the firm’s recruitment agenda, partnering closely with senior stakeholders, practice leaders, and HR leadership to build a world-class hiring function. You will lead a high-performing recruitment team, drive continuous improvement across processes and systems, and develop strategies that support the firm’s long-term growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global recruitment strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented recruitment team
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across legal practices and corporate functions
  • Enhance candidate attraction strategies and employer brand initiatives
  • Drive improvements across recruitment processes, technology, and reporting
  • Manage senior-level and strategic hires across the organisation
  • Use market intelligence and data-driven insights to influence hiring decisions

About You

You will be an experienced recruitment leader with a strong track record of operating within a complex, professional services environment. You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading recruitment teams within a top-tier law firm, professional services firm, or similarly complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Partner and Executive level
  • A strategic mindset combined with the ability to deliver operational excellence
  • Experience managing high-volume and specialist recruitment across multiple disciplines
  • A passion for building exceptional candidate experiences and attracting market-leading talent
