Head of Regulatory - Maternity Cover

12-Month Maternity Cover: Head of Regulatory

About Medik8

At Medik8, we develop all of our products in-house at our innovation centre, where an amazing team of scientists, researchers, product and project managers drive innovation to keep us ahead of the market. We are a British, B Corp™ certified skincare brand renowned for delivering clinical results without compromise.

We now seek a 12-month maternity cover for our Head of Regulatory role, reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer.

Our mission: To simplify the route to great skin through our pioneering CSA Philosophy®—Vitamin C plus Sunscreen by day, and Vitamin A by night.

The Role

You will act as our expert in market compliance, proactively addressing risks and ensuring we stay ahead in our ambitious cross-market strategy. As our primary external and internal regulatory contact, you will:

  • Lead a global regulatory function, setting and executing evidence-based strategies.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement robust regulatory approaches.
  • Leverage your network, domestic and international, to forecast and adapt to evolving policy and legislation.
  • Contribute to early-stage product evaluation and knowledge-sharing across teams.

This hybrid role (3 days on-site at our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury, 2 days remote) also facilitates growth in our regulatory team, currently expanding from 3 to 4 members.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Leadership & Strategy

  • Build and maintain a global technical regulatory knowledge base to ensure full product compliance across territories.
  • Provide expert guidance on “grey areas” of regulation and compliance strategies.
  • Advise on upcoming regulatory changes, ensuring strategic alignment across markets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
