We are exclusively representing a growing specialist bank at an exciting stage of its evolution.
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the Regulatory Reporting function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality prudential and statistical reporting while supporting the continued development of the bank's regulatory framework, governance, and balance sheet management capabilities.
This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership, regulatory engagement, and continuous improvement, providing significant exposure across Finance, Risk, and the wider executive team.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting
- Lead all prudential regulatory reporting activities, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely submissions.
- Oversee production of COREP, FINREP, PRA110, BoE Statistical Returns, and other regulatory returns.
- Maintain a robust regulatory reporting control framework with a focus on governance, data quality, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the senior contact for regulatory reporting matters across the business.

- Support the ongoing development of the bank's prudential framework.
- Contribute to ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP, and wider regulatory deliverables.
- Provide technical interpretation of new prudential regulation and assess business impacts.
- Build strong relationships with Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Compliance.
Balance Sheet & Liquidity Support
- Work closely with senior finance leadership in monitoring capital and liquidity positions.
- Support governance surrounding liquidity reporting and balance sheet oversight.
- Contribute to ALCO reporting and associated management information.
- Provide insight to support funding, liquidity, and capital decision-making.
Leadership
- Lead and develop the Regulatory Reporting team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop succession capability and technical expertise within the team.
Transformation
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and strengthen controls.
- Improve regulatory data governance and reporting processes.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and regulatory change programmes.
- Work alongside technology and change teams to enhance reporting capability.

Candidate Profile
We're interested in speaking with experienced regulatory reporting professionals who combine technical excellence with strong leadership capability.
You'll likely bring:
- Significant experience leading Regulatory Reporting within a UK regulated bank or specialist lender.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within specialist lending, challenger banking, or retail banking.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting transformation or RegTech implementation.
- Understanding of liquidity management frameworks.
- Experience supporting ALCO.
- Knowledge of funding or treasury reporting environments.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
