This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping how giffgaff connects with its members through impactful, insight-led retention campaigns. You’ll set the creative and strategic direction across the full campaign lifecycle, ensuring activity is not only distinctive and on brand, but consistently delivers against commercial and customer goals. Acting as the driving force behind campaign effectiveness, you’ll bring together data, creativity and channel expertise to create work that stands out in a competitive market and strengthens long-term customer loyalty.

Day to day, you’ll lead the end to end development and delivery of campaigns, from diagnosing business challenges and crafting clear, compelling briefs, through to execution, optimisation and post campaign analysis. You’ll work closely with cross functional teams including product, media and member engagement, alongside agency partners, to deliver a coordinated and always-on approach to communications. With accountability for budgets, timelines and stakeholder alignment, you’ll ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and to a high standard, while continuously embedding learnings to improve performance over time. As a senior leader, you’ll also play a key role in developing talent, strengthening collaboration and elevating creative standards across the wider organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
