Head of Revenue

This is not your typical hospitality company. They are a fast-growing, forward-thinking group redefining what a portfolio of properties can achieve. They believe in testing, learning, and moving quickly – no outdated rules, no unnecessary red tape.

The Head of Revenue is a strategic leadership role within their revenue shared service centre. You will own the commercial performance of a diverse property portfolio, partnering with General Managers and executive teams to not only meet but exceed revenue and EBITDA targets. Beyond day-to-day revenue management, you will shape the wider revenue function, lead high-impact strategic projects, embed best-in-class practices, and develop the next generation of revenue talent.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership Defines, documents, and champions the overarching revenue strategy for the portfolio, setting the commercial direction across room types, segments, and lead times Owns the rate governance framework, ensuring all bookings – including staff and partner rates – comply with minimum rate rules and seasonal pricing structures Drives room revenue optimisation through sophisticated business mix management, rate positioning, and real-time pricing decisions

Performance & Analysis Continuously tests, learns, and refines commercial strategies; builds a culture of experimentation and data-led decision-making Oversees the integrity of revenue systems, reporting accuracy, and operational controls (including supplements, events, and overbookings) Owns the monthly forecasting process at property and segment level, proactively identifying risks and leading corrective action to protect performance Delivers high-impact weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting to the executive team, translating data into clear commercial narratives and action plans

Distribution & Systems Leads distribution strategy, including direct management of OTA extranets and channel optimisation Ensures the revenue management system and reporting infrastructure are configured for maximum insight and efficiency

Team Development & Mentorship Acts as a senior coach and mentor to junior revenue managers, owning their training, development, and performance Fosters a high-performance, collaborative team culture rooted in transparency and continuous improvement

Strategic Projects & Thought Leadership Partners with the VP / Director on transformative commercial projects that shape the future of the business Champions specific revenue workstreams (e.g., best practice documentation, process improvement, systems innovation) for the wider team Acts as a senior voice in cross-functional initiatives with marketing, e-commerce, sales, and operations

What We're Looking For Minimum 7+ years' experience in revenue management, with at least 3–4 years in a multi-property, senior-level role Proven track record of delivering market share growth and EBITDA outperformance across diverse property portfolios Strategic commercial thinker with exceptional analytical and data visualisation skills Natural leader with strong stakeholder presence and the ability to influence at executive level Results-driven – we are judged on outcomes, and they thrive in a high-accountability environment Excellent communicator who can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Passionate about people development and building high-performing teams
