Head of Revenue
Build the Future of Rooms at Buzzworks
At Buzzworks, we are known for creating award-winning hospitality experiences across Scotland. Now we're taking that same passion into accommodation.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning.
We are looking for our Head of Revenue to create the commercial foundations of our Rooms business. You will shape the strategy, implement the systems, influence new developments and build a revenue function that will support our ambitious growth plans.
This isn't a role where you will inherit someone else's way of working, you will build it from the ground up. Working alongside our Leadership Team, you will combine commercial thinking with hands-on delivery, helping turn our first accommodation sites into a high-performing business.
What you are responsible for:
You will lead every aspect of our commercial revenue strategy, including:
- Developing and delivering the revenue strategy that maximises occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and overall commercial performance across our accommodation portfolio.
- Supporting new site acquisitions by providing market analysis, demand forecasting and commercial insight, helping influence site selection, room mix and long-term profitability.
- Creating dynamic pricing, forecasting and distribution strategies that respond to market demand and optimise the performance of every property.
- Managing inventory and distribution channels, ensuring the right rooms are sold through the right channels at the right price to maximise profitable revenue.
- Leading the implementation of revenue technology, including property management, revenue management and channel management systems, while establishing scalable reporting, forecasting and commercial processes.
- Producing insightful commercial reporting and performance analysis, identifying trends, opportunities and risks, and presenting clear recommendations to the Leadership Team.
- Monitoring competitor activity, customer behaviour and market trends to ensure Buzzworks remains commercially agile and competitive.
- Partnering closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT and People teams to align commercial decisions with operational delivery, guest experience and brand growth.
- Supporting promotional activity, new openings and demand-driving initiatives through data-led commercial planning and collaboration.
- Balancing strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, whether that's implementing new systems, refining processes, analysing booking trends or solving day-to-day operational challenges.
- Building the Revenue Management function for the future, recruiting, coaching and developing the team as our Rooms business continues to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
