About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Head of Revenue (Maternity Cover) to ensure that our financial strategy aligns with our unwavering commitment to luxury service. This hands-on leadership role involves driving revenue optimisation, fostering a ‘Revenue Management’ culture, and maintaining unparalleled guest satisfaction.
responsibilities & duties
- Act as the knowledge expert on revenue management (internal and external)
- Provide strategic direction and oversee revenue strategy with the Executive team
- Strategically implement targets to exceed occupancy and average room rate ambitions, while improving yield management
- Ensure Revenue Generation Index (RGI) exceeds fair share and aligns with budgeted targets
- Employ sales and upselling techniques to maximise revenue and guest spending
- Inventory and overbooking management for dynamic pricing
- Group quoting and block management to optimise profitability over group stay periods
- Forecasting and reporting: Provide accurate assessments for future business and operational planning.
- Daily/weekly reporting on forecast vs. actuals
- Analysis and comparison of historical performance data
- Conduct competitor analysis on pricing, trends, and availability
- Ensure a welcoming, high-service environment for guests and staff
- Leadership responsibilities: Drive performance and motivation while setting high service standards
- Champion Revenue Management principles across all departments

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate should:

Essential qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar revenue leadership role at a 5-star luxury hotel (preferably in London)
- Strong leadership experience, including team management
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills, both verbal and written
- Meticulous attention to detail, reflecting in everything from strategy delivery to grooming standards
- Advanced analytical expertise, including data interpretation and report creation
- Deep understanding of Operating System (Opera) (familiarity with Rate Configuration and OXI management)

Preferred attributes:
- Experience with SynXis, IDeaS RMS, or other revenue management solutions
- Total Revenue Management background incorporating F&B or Spa Revenue Management
- Customer service leadership demonstrated through high standards for guest experience
The role is available from October.
