Head of Risk & Fraud

Head of Risk & Fraud – Eneba

About Eneba

At Eneba, we’re building an open, safe, and sustainable marketplace for today’s and tomorrow’s gamers. Our platform supports near 20 million+ active users—and continues to grow rapidly—providing unparalleled trust, safety, and accessibility. Proud of what we’ve achieved in a short time, we invite you to join us as we expand, diversify our offerings, and scale alongside the dynamic gaming community.

About The Team

The Risk & Fraud team is focused on preserving the backbone of a marketplace: trust. Every transaction must distinguish between genuine players and fraudulent actors—without hindering legitimate activity. Our responsibilities span both immediate defense (alert review, chargeback management, Customer Support escalations) and long-term strategic initiatives (fraud program design, KPI ownership, evolution of risk models).

We view fraud prevention as a core discipline, not a cost centre.

About Your Role

As the Head of Risk & Fraud, you set and enforce the critical threshold between safety and loss across the entire business.

You’re not just a financial arbiter—you shape fraud strategy for all products, lead your team, and dictate the impactful decisions that drive the numbers: partner selection, trusted model adoption, risk line accuracy, and risk influence in new product design.

When stakeholders ask, “How exposed are we, and what are we doing about it?”, you deliver clear, data-backed answers—not speculation.

Responsibilities

  • Owner of the Number: Accountable for fraud financials, including payouts, chargeback rates, approval rates, and false-positive rates—end-to-end across the business. Justify trends and uphold outcomes.
  • Leader of the Team: Build a capable second-level leadership tier, develop team members, and ensure scalability of the Risk & Fraud function.
  • Strategy Setter: Set fraud risk nationwide, balancing what we develop versus acquire, investment trade-offs, and how multi-product fraud programs are executed.
  • Partnership Principal: Direct commercial RFP processes, fraud partner negotiations, SLAs, and day-to-day accountability for partner performance.
  • Cross-Functional Partner: Ensure fraud risk is embedded into product and engineering design early, not retrofitted after incidents.
  • Compliance Anchor: Manage risk-related regulatory (PSP, KYC), law enforcement interactions, and internal/extern accrual obligations.
  • Final Word on Risk: Ultimate escalation for high-stakes decisions, representing Risk & Fraud in leadership forums with data-driven rigor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
