Newly Created Role Lead a Team Accountancy Practice Client Base
The Accounting Practice team at AJ Chambers are partnering with a fast-growing specialist tax advisory firm looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead the development of referral partnerships across the accountancy sector.
This is a unique opportunity for a relationship-led sales professional to build strategic partnerships with accountancy firms, professional practices, and financial advisers, generating high-quality client referrals for specialist tax solutions.
Joining as the Head of Sales, you will - Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on accountancy practice partnerships. Build long-term relationships with accountants, tax advisers, and professional introducers. Generate referral opportunities across areas such as R&D tax, employment tax, capital allowances, VAT, corporate tax, and specialist advisory services. Attend networking events, meetings, and industry functions to expand market presence. Work closely with the tax advisory team to identify commercial opportunities and convert leads. Lead the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to partnership development. Monitor pipeline activity and deliver against revenue and referral targets.

You will need to have a solid understanding of Accounting coupled with - Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within tax, accountancy, financial services, or professional services. Strong network within the accountancy or advisory market preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Commercially focused with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in winning new business.
