A leading international technology and business solutions organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead a high-performing UK sales function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a commercially focused sales leader who has successfully built, developed, and scaled sales teams within fast-paced, customer-centric environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing market strategy, and leading a national field-based sales team whilst contributing to broader international growth initiatives.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for defining and executing the UK sales strategy, ensuring consistent delivery against ambitious commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering the national sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Owning sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning
- Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing field sales team
- Creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence
- Establishing scalable sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks
- Monitoring key business performance indicators and identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation
- Collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align commercial objectives with wider business goals
- Building strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders across a diverse customer base
- Providing market and customer insight to support strategic decision-making, product development, and customer retention initiatives

About You
We are looking for an ambitious and driven sales leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on leadership style.
You will demonstrate:
- Significant experience leading B2B sales teams within technology, software, business services, financial services, or related sectors
- A proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth and exceeding commercial targets
- Experience building and scaling high-performing sales organisations
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and executive-level audiences
- Excellent commercial acumen and experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles
- A data-driven approach to forecasting, pipeline management, and performance optimisation
- Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
- The ability to thrive within dynamic, high-growth, and entrepreneurial environments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across multiple levels of an organisation
- Flexibility to travel nationally as required

Experience Required
- Experience within B2B sales, including significant leadership responsibility
- Demonstrable success leading national or regional sales teams
- Experience operating within growth-focused organisations and scaling commercial performance
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
