Head of Sales | AI Biotech
I'm working with an AI biotech that's changing how drug discovery is done.
They've built an AI-native platform that helps pharmaceutical companies replace time-consuming wet lab experiments with virtual discovery, allowing researchers to assess millions of experiments in a fraction of the time. Their technology is already being used by some of the world's leading pharma companies, and as demand continues to grow, they're looking for their first commercial leader.
This is a genuine opportunity to build something from the ground up.
They're looking for a Head of Sales who enjoys being hands-on. You'll be responsible for winning new business while building the commercial function, developing the go-to-market strategy and putting the foundations in place for future growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Winning new business
- Drive new logo acquisition across large pharma and biotech accounts.
- Own the full sales process from prospecting through to close.
- Lead complex sales cycles involving scientific, technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
