Location: Manchester Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 P/A (depending on experience) + Bonus Hours: Full time | Permanent | Monday to Friday Benefits: Company car, bonus scheme

Attega Group is recruiting on behalf of our client an experienced professional for the role of Head of Sales, to join their UK team.


About the Role

The main purpose of this Head of Sales role is to:

  • Lead and oversee commercial and sales operations for the UK subsidiary
  • Align commercial efforts with company-wide business objectives and growth strategy

The position offers:

  • A competitive salary of up to £90,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • A company car and bonus scheme

Reporting to the Director of Subsidiaries, this permanent, full-time role sees you working Monday to Friday.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, motivate, and support a sales team (of 5 direct reports) to:
    • Achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to:
    • Ensure high levels of service
    • Develop long-term partnerships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to:
    • Expand the customer base
    • Increase market share
  • Monitor:
    • Market trends
    • Competitor activity
    • Customer needs in the UK region
  • Prepare key sales forecasts, performance reports, and commercial analyses for the management team in Poland

Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Extensive experience in B2B sales processes
    • Ideally in fire protection, fire safety, smoke ventilation, smoke control, or technical fire-related products
  • Proven experience in:
    • Business development
    • Managing a sales team
    • Commercially-minded and target-driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain UK-wide relationships
  • Comfortable with UK-wide planned travel to maintain client relationships
  • Any knowledge or understanding of UK Fire Regulations is a huge advantage
