About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Sales to lead a national account management function within a well-established technical services organisation. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for:
- A team of 5 National Account Managers, each managing their own National Account Executive teams
- Driving profitable growth across key national accounts
- Strengthening customer relationships and building a high-performing sales culture

Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop your team
- Oversee strategic account plans and customer reviews
- Identify new commercial opportunities
- Ensure exceptional customer service delivery across multi-site customers
This is a highly visible leadership position where essential contributions will be made to future sales strategy and performance.
Location
This is a national role with regular UK travel. The ideal candidate lives within ~2 hours of the West Midlands, with expected office attendance of 1–2 days per week.
Requirements
Required for this leading sales role:
- Proven experience in leading & developing sales or account management teams
- Experience in managing large, multi-site, or national accounts
- Background in sectors such as food, drink, chemicals, service contracts, or capital equipment solutions
- Commercially astute with strong coaching, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build credibility at senior customer & board level
- Must hold a full UK driving licence

Package
- Base Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
- Annual Bonus: 10–15%
