Global Technology Manufacturer specialising in electric motors, drives, and control systems, currently expanding into HVAC & Industrial sectors. Established markets include Automotive, Technology, Energy, Infrastructure, Robotics, Automation, and Precision Engineering.


Location & Territory

Location

UK-based (flexible/home-based) with travel required across key cities such as:

  • Manchester, Liverpool, London, Bristol, Leeds, Derby, Birmingham, Cambridge
  • Bath, Oxford, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cumbria, Sheffield, Nottingham

Territory

  • UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland)
  • Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark)

Role Summary

OTE: £117,000+ (salary up to £90,000 + 20% bonus rising to 40%)

Reporting to: Senior commercial leadership team Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Development Managers while driving growth in HVAC and industrial sectors.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for the UK & Nordic regions.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor commercial teams.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities in OEM, distributor, and end-user markets.
  • Build strategic relationships with:
    • OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
    • Consultants
    • Distributors
    • Integrators
    • End-user customers
  • Drive market penetration and brand positioning across target sectors.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and international commercial teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Meet revenue, profitability, and business growth objectives.

About You

We seek a commercially driven leader with:

  • Strong technical sales and business development background, particularly in:
    • HVAC
    • Drives
    • Motors
    • Control systems
  • Proven experience leading commercial or sales teams.
  • Experience in complex OEM sales environments.
  • Multiregional (UK/Scandinavia) or international business development experience (advantageous).
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability.
