About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Sales to take full operational ownership of our Distribution Sales Team, leading performance, developing people and delivering ambitious growth across the UK and Ireland.
This isn’t about rebuilding a struggling team. You’ll inherit an experienced sales function and have the opportunity to introduce greater structure, accountability and commercial focus while helping shape the next stage of our growth.

- Salary between £70,000 - £90,000 Depending on experience
- 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- You’ll lead a national team of Area Sales Managers and Key Account Managers, taking responsibility for:
- Delivering sales performance, revenue growth and commercial targets.
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Owning forecasting, pipeline management and KPI delivery.
- Driving CRM adoption and improving reporting accuracy.
- Building strong partnerships with Specification, Product, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
- Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Supporting key customer relationships, product launches and industry events.

Within your first 12 months you’ll have:
- Embedded a high-performance sales culture.
- Improved forecasting, reporting and pipeline visibility.
- Successfully implemented new ways of working through our CRM.
- Strengthened collaboration across our commercial teams.
- Delivered measurable improvements in sales performance and commercial results.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading high-performing B2B sales teams across multiple territories.
- A track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and commercial success.
- Experience developing and implementing sales strategy.
- Strong forecasting, KPI management and CRM experience.
- An engaging leadership style with a passion for coaching and developing people.
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and driving operational excellence.
- Experience within distribution, wholesale, renewables, EV or another technical B2B environment.
- Experience within a private equity-backed business.
- Experience leading CRM implementation, business transformation or organisational change.
