Description
As the Head of Sales, you will lead the delivery of Chetwood's intermediary sales strategy, driving sustainable growth across mortgage application volumes, completions and market share. You will develop and lead a high-performing sales team, build strong relationships with brokers and distribution partners. You will work closely with product, marketing, operations and risk, to deliver competitive propositions, achieve commercial objectives and ensure excellent customer and broker outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the intermediary sales strategy to achieve mortgage lending, completion and market share targets.
- Build, manage and grow relationships with brokers, networks, clubs and distribution partners to maximise business opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, driving performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, operations and credit teams to enhance propositions and deliver a consistent intermediary experience.
- Ensure all sales activity is delivered in line with regulatory requirements, consumer duty principles and the Bank's risk and compliance standards.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of the UK intermediary mortgage market, with an established broker and distribution network.
- Proven success in mortgage sales leadership, delivering commercial growth and high-performing teams.
- Advanced understanding of specialist mortgage products, regulation and intermediary distribution.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills across internal and external partners.
- Commercially astute, with experience using market insight and performance data to drive business outcomes.
- Experience managing sales budgets, commercial spend and delivering against financial targets.
