Head of Sales & Enablement

Partner with the sales team through the full customer contract lifecycle (pre-sales – bid – account management) to identify new opportunities for solutions and expand client’s awareness of and take-up of wider division propositions and solutions.

Job Description

  • Using outputs from research and analysis of stakeholders, competitors, markets, demographics, locations, people, processes and technology to inform the evolution of the portfolio vision, requirements and roadmap.
  • Identifying the solution components needed to meet the customers’ needs, evaluating options and selecting the most appropriate solution, based on evidence, research and analysis.
  • Deconstructing, scoping and articulating solution design work packages to be undertaken individually or delegated out to the team.
  • Set a vision & execute a roadmap for the evolution of solutions to meet the proposition growth targets.
  • Create compelling solutions that excite customers and integrate all aspects of people, process, technology and data security that deliver customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Shape and lead proposition / client group solution bids, pulling through the adoption and value of division standard propositions and products to drive market & cost competitiveness.
  • Influencing and challenging internal and external stakeholders to achieve the optimum solution.
  • Managing and mitigating risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and opportunities (RADIO).
  • Working with Bid Lead and Sales Lead to ensure solutions are assured, agreed and signed off through appropriate bid, operational and commercial governance processes.
  • Articulating the overall solution, both written and verbally to senior level stakeholders and in the bid submission, ensuring alignment with win themes.
  • Management of the sales architecture team to produce high quality solution artefacts, underpinning best practice, cost optimised and will excite the customer.
  • Modelling a culture of continuous learning and excellence in solutioning – an active participant in the division solutions community developing and embedding best practise, solution standards and standard tooling.
