The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Head of Delegate Sales to lead and scale their delegate acquisition strategy across a portfolio of global events. This is a leadership role where you will own revenue performance, build a sales function, and contribute to the company's commercial direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver delegate revenue targets across multiple event portfolios
  • Design and run scalable, data-driven sales strategies aligned with company growth goals
  • Build, lead, and manage a delegate sales team (inbound, outbound, and partnerships)
  • Improve conversion funnels using AI-driven insights and performance analytics
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Partnerships teams to support demand generation and audience engagement
  • Develop and refine value propositions for different customer segments
  • Implement best practices in CRM usage, pipeline management, and sales forecasting
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies globally
  • Support and develop team members, encouraging accountability and continuous improvement

The Team

You will lead a team of sales professionals across delegate acquisition, SDR functions, and partnerships. The team works closely with marketing and data functions, supported by AI-driven insights.

  • Experience in delegate sales, event sales, or high-volume B2B sales leadership
  • Experience managing and scaling teams while meeting revenue targets
  • Strong commercial judgement with a data-driven approach
  • Experience using technology (CRM, automation, AI tools) to improve performance
  • Leadership approach focused on coaching and team development
  • Clear communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a busy, growing environment
