On behalf of a leading international manufacturing company operating in the industrial sector, we are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead the company's commercial strategy and drive continued business growth across the UK and key international markets. This is a strategic leadership opportunity within a well-established organization recognized for its engineering excellence, product innovation, and strong market position. Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial performance, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a national sales team, driving a high-performance culture.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with key industrial clients and strategic partners.
  • Manage major customer accounts and negotiate high-value commercial agreements.
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, budgets, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership to deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Represent the company at major industry exhibitions, customer meetings, and international trade events.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role such as Head of Sales or Commercial Director, preferably within the industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technical sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing sales strategies and leading high-performing commercial teams.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Commercially driven, analytical, and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are considered an advantage.

What We Offer

  • ✔ Permanent full-time executive position within a financially strong international organization.
  • ✔ Base salary between £120,000 and £150,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • ✔ Executive performance bonus, with realistic On-Target Earnings (OTE) exceeding £180,000–£200,000 annually.
