We are looking to recruit a Head of Sales to join our fantastic West Midlands sales team. The role will see you effectively support the Regional Sales Director, stepping into Senior Management meetings should it be required and provide continuity for the region. In addition, you will manage site-based sales teams to ensure that the sales processes are implemented effectively and that sales targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Management of site-based regional Development Sales Managers which may include recruitment, performance management, development and coaching to support a motivated and highly effective sales team.
  • Support Sales Managers in their personal development, reviewing their progress regularly
  • Support Land Bids – market research, demographic information etc. to provide a well informed and balanced Sales Appraisal for potential new developments.
  • Team Development, mentoring, training, coaching and providing regular feedback to the Sales Team and reporting progress to Regional Sales Director

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of the house building sector and track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Experience of managing, motivating and developing site sales teams
  • Strategic planning, marketing insight and analytical skills
  • High personal and professional integrity, presence, drive, determination and enthusiasm.
