Head of Sales and Marketing
Location: Manchester
We’re searching for an experienced and commercially astute leader to drive the next phase of sales and marketing at Plumlife Homes, a brand under Great Places. The role involves shaping strategic direction, maximising opportunities in new home sales, shared ownership, and other property sales—all while delivering a seamless customer experience.
This is a pivotal opportunity to unite people, insights, and strategy, enhancing collaboration, driving performance, and fostering partnerships to support our growth ambitions.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for leading Plumlife Homes’ sales and marketing, ensuring commercial success while embodying our social and purpose-driven mission. As a senior property specialist, you’ll bring the following strengths:
- A proven track record of leading high-performing sales and marketing teams
- Exceptional commercial acumen paired with strategic leadership
- The ability to translate opportunities into tangible results

Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver a commercially driven sales and marketing strategy
- Drive customer-centric growth across new home sales, shared ownership, and other property types
- Build and align sales and marketing teams to drive exceptional performance
- Cultivate strategic partnerships to strengthen operational and commercial success
- Champion innovation and insight-driven decision-making to enhance customer experience
- Ensure brand consistency and market positioning for Plumlife Homes
Requirements
- Extensive experience in property sales and marketing, preferably in the affordable housing sector
- Track record of success in team leadership across commercial and social housing
- Strong strategic and operational problem-solving skills
- A commercial mindset with a focus on performance and efficiency
- Enthusiastic about social purpose and affordable home delivery
