Head of Sales (Products)
Full-Time, Permanent

The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Head of Sales (Products) to join Fendercare, part of the Maritime Division at James Fisher and Sons, and drive the global sales performance across our products portfolio. You will lead a dedicated global sales team and build strong partnerships with key accounts and internal stakeholders. Your role will be instrumental in defining and driving the sales strategy, championing innovation and delivering consistent growth on a global scale.
The role will ideally be based close to one of our offices in either London or Norfolk, with office presence and occasional travel in and outside the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement a global product sales strategy aligned with annual revenue and profit targets. Lead and manage a global sales team comprising Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team effectiveness and individual contributions. Establish and manage a sales planning process with regional sales managers to drive success against targets. Identify new market opportunities and lead product-based commercial innovation. Collaborate with Marketing to create compelling product campaigns and sales collateral. Monitor pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Contribute to budget setting, forecasting, and overhead management. Represent the business externally at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions. Ensure alignment between product sales and broader business objectives. Work with product managers to drive fixed fendering capability. Promote and uphold the company’s safety culture and core values at all levels. Champion safety culture and the company’s core values at all levels.

What We're Looking For
Proven leadership in global B2B sales, ideally within maritime, offshore, or logistics sectors. Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring capabilities. Gravitas and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and clients. Previous experience in managing an international team. Proficiency in CRM and sales performance tools. Experience with sales transformation or change management (desirable) Values-driven with a track record of collaboration, professionalism, and innovation.
