Head of Sales
Head of B2B SaaS Sales
About the Role
Lead, scale and develop a high-performing B2B SaaS sales team, empowering sales managers and senior individual contributors to consistently exceed commercial targets.

Drive predictable, sustainable revenue growth by owning forecasting, pipeline management and performance discipline across key recurring revenue metrics, including:
- ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)
- ACV (Average Contract Value)
- Renewals
- Expansion

Execute and continually refine go-to-market strategies across the UK and Ireland, ensuring effective engagement with customers across:
- SMB (Small and Medium Businesses)
- Mid-market
- Enterprise segments

Implement, optimise and embed robust sales methodologies, processes, and best practices to:
- Increase conversion rates
- Improve sales efficiency
- Elevate team performance in a fast-scaling environment

Provide strategic oversight of pipeline health and forecasting, instilling strong operational discipline and fostering a culture of:
- Accountability
- Transparency
- Continuous improvement

Strengthen cross-functional alignment by partnering with:
- Marketing leadership
- Product teams
- Customer success teams To ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy that supports:
- Customer acquisition

Leverage data insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to guide strategic decision-making, elevate team effectiveness, and improve commercial outcomes.
Leadership Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team, motivating and inspiring your team to reach and exceed all set targets and KPIs.
- Coach team members in best practices, fostering a culture of continuous development.
- Ensure all team members have clear, up-to-date Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and receive regular performance reviews and meaningful 1:1 conversations to support:
- Growth
- Engagement
- Accountability

What You’ll Bring with You

10+ years of progressive sales experience, including:
- 3+ years of management experience
- Demonstrating increasing responsibility
- Strategic influence
- Consistent revenue or team growth across complex market environments
- 3+ years of management experience

A Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline (commercially advantageous but not mandatory).

A track record of exceeding targets in B2B or high-velocity sales.

Strong proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.

Exceptional communication, motivational, and analytical skills.

A commercially astute, data-driven sales leader with:
- Strong strategic acumen
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Ability to drive performance KPIs
- Experience delivering sustainable growth in SaaS environments

Strategic yet hands-on approach as an Head of Sales, blending:
- Long-term commercial planning
- Operational excellence
- Sharp focus on revenue outcomes, sales execution, and ensuring an exceptional customer journey.

Credible, empowering people leader with:
- Extensive experience coaching, developing, and inspiring high-performing sales teams.

Highly collaborative, customer-centric sales operator with:
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Deep SaaS knowledge
- Bonus: Knowledge of the dental or wider medical sector is highly advantageous.
