About the role
As Head of Sales, you will lead our local B2B Partnerships team, drive revenue growth, and act as a general manager for the commercial side of the business. This is a player-coach role: you will personally own and grow a portfolio of strategic brand partnerships, while leading, coaching and scaling the team that does the same. You will sit on the leadership team and help shape the direction of the business alongside other senior leaders.
Objectives of this role
Leadership & general management
- Lead, motivate and develop the local Partnerships (B2B sales) team to consistently hit and exceed targets.
- Sit on the leadership team and contribute to wider business strategy, planning and decision-making.
- Act as a general manager for the commercial side of the business – owning the day-to-day running, performance and culture of the team.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Revenue team to align pipeline, forecasting and reporting.
- Set the standard for client interaction, sales process and account management across the team.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews to assess progress and strategise improvements.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on performance, pipeline and market trends.

Personal sales & key accounts
- Personally own and manage a portfolio of the most important brand partnerships, ensuring continuous engagement, growth and retention.
- Identify, prioritise and secure new business opportunities with direct brands and clients across the tech, gaming and e-mobility sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong B2B pipeline, closing deals that contribute meaningfully to revenue targets.
- Create compelling, data-led sales propositions and presentations using market trends, internal data and case studies.
- Ensure clients receive the highest level of sales, operational customer service and account management.
Strategy & cross-functional collaboration
- Develop and implement the local sales strategy in line with company objectives.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and identify new opportunities and markets.
- Liaise with marketing, product, retail and operations teams to structure and execute strategic initiatives.
- Develop and embed best practices for client interaction, sales and services across the team.

An experienced commercial leader who has done both – closed big deals personally and built and led high-performing sales teams. You are a goal-oriented, self-motivated people-person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a dynamic environment and always ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done. You build robust, enduring relationships with clients and colleagues, and you understand what it takes to grow a business as part of its leadership team.
The ideal candidate
- Proven track record in B2B sales / business development, with experience managing strategic partnerships and key accounts.
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing a sales or partnerships team and consistently hitting revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable operating as a player-coach – owning your own accounts while managing others.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is good to have.
- Previous experience in retail, tech, gaming or e-mobility is a plus.
