The Client:
We are currently working with a London based Corporate Bank in their search for a Head of Sanctions.
The Role:
This is a leadership role where you'll manage a team of two while taking ownership of the bank's sanctions framework and programme.
- You'll be responsible for overseeing sanctions policy and governance,
- Providing subject matter expertise to senior stakeholders,
- Driving enhancements to the sanctions control environment, and
- Ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- The role also offers the opportunity to work closely with key business areas and regulatory stakeholders on strategic sanctions initiatives.

The package is up to £130,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The bank operates a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the London office.

The Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership in Sanctions Compliance
- Deep expertise in Trade Finance operations and regulatory requirements.
- Significant experience interacting with senior executives and presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
