The Client:

We are currently working with a London based Corporate Bank in their search for a Head of Sanctions.


The Role:

This is a leadership role where you'll manage a team of two while taking ownership of the bank's sanctions framework and programme.

  • You'll be responsible for overseeing sanctions policy and governance,
  • Providing subject matter expertise to senior stakeholders,
  • Driving enhancements to the sanctions control environment, and
  • Ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • The role also offers the opportunity to work closely with key business areas and regulatory stakeholders on strategic sanctions initiatives.

The Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership in Sanctions Compliance
  • Deep expertise in Trade Finance operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Significant experience interacting with senior executives and presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
