Head of Security
Head of Protective Security
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced security professional to lead and develop a protective security function within a highly regulated organisation as their new Head of Protective Security.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading security operations
- Ensuring compliance with UK Government and defence security requirements
- Managing security risk
- Overseeing personnel and physical security
- Leading incident investigations
- Driving a strong security culture across multiple sites

Requirements
We're looking for someone with:
- Significant experience in protective security within the UK defence or government sector
- Strong knowledge of:
- Security governance
- Personnel vetting
- Physical security
- Risk management
- Experience leading security teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
