Head of Service Delivery & Volunteering | Re-engage | Home-based | £50,000
Are you an experienced services, operations or volunteering leader looking for an opportunity to shape the future of a growing national charity?
Passionate about delivering high-quality, volunteer-powered services that make a meaningful difference to people's lives?
Re-engage is seeking a new Head of Service Delivery & Volunteering to join its Senior Management Team and help deliver an ambitious growth strategy focused on reducing loneliness amongst people aged 75 and over.
As the UK's only charity dedicated solely to tackling loneliness and social isolation in later life, Re-engage supports thousands of older people across the UK through volunteer-led services that create meaningful social connections and lasting friendships.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a national service delivery function, drive continuous improvement and innovation, and help shape how Re-engage reaches and supports even more older people over the coming years.
You will:
- Lead volunteer-powered services supporting older people across the UK
- Lead and develop a team of managers and service specialists
- Drive service quality, consistency and continuous improvement
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation
- Use data, technology and insight to improve services and experiences
- Work closely with colleagues across engagement, fundraising, communications and impact teams
- Ensure volunteers and older people remain at the heart of service design and delivery
- Contribute to organisational strategy as a member of the Senior Management Team
- Support the development of new services and innovative ways of reaching more older people

You may currently be:
- A Head of Services, Head of Operations, Head of Volunteering or Service Delivery Manager within the charity sector
- A Regional Director, Assistant Director or Operational Leader responsible for community, health, wellbeing or support services
- A leader with experience of managing volunteer-led services at scale
- An experienced safeguarding lead with strong knowledge of quality and risk management
- Someone who enjoys leading teams through change and improvement
- A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable with operational delivery
- Passionate about creating excellent experiences for both service users and volunteers
