Job Description
- Develop and implement SHEQ strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
- Lead the SHEQ team across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyse SHEQ performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
- Oversee audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Drive initiatives to achieve sustainability goals and environmental compliance.
- Provide training and development to enhance SHEQ awareness and expertise within the organisation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders regarding SHEQ matters.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of SHEQ - UK&I/Nordics should have:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within SHEQ, ideally in the transport and distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive organisational change.
- Relevant professional qualifications in SHEQ or related fields.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic SHEQ initiatives.
