About the Role
At Babcock, we’re committed to creating a safe and secure world. As the Head of Site at Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, you’ll lead a high-performing team that delivers critical support to the British Army through outstanding maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for vehicle equipment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop large operational teams to meet PSQDCC targets (People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cash, Cost).
- Provide cohesive leadership to integrate functions into a unified Operational Management team.
- Oversee production outputs for Army vehicle equipment, coordinating internal and external partners.
- Foster a culture based on the Babcock Principles.
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships to ensure effective collaboration with customers and partners.

The role is 37 hours per week, based on site in Ashchurch.
Requirements & Closure
Essential Experience and Skills
- Proven ability to lead large teams in a complex operational environment.
- Strong understanding of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes and performance delivery.
- Experience in customer relationship management across multi-stakeholder settings.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities with expertise in financial, commercial, and performance management.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications & Security Clearance
- While qualifications vary, practical experience and enthusiasm are valued more than formal education.
- Security Check (SC) security clearance is mandatory for this role.
