Head of Social

Head of Social | London (x3 days p/w) | Occasional Weekend Work | Up to £65k

We're partnering with a leading sports and entertainment agency to appoint a Head of Social, responsible for leading the social media strategy and execution for a portfolio of high-profile athletes.

The Role

  • Own the end-to-end social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads, and Facebook
  • Lead content planning, publishing, community management, and audience growth
  • Shape authentic athlete brands through engaging, platform-first content
  • Deliver commercial campaigns, merchandise launches, and partner activations across social
  • Work closely with creatives, photographers, and videographers to produce best-in-class content
  • Monitor trends, competitors, and emerging platforms to keep content innovative and relevant
  • Capture content at live events and support key moments throughout the sporting calendar

About You

  • Experience managing high-profile social media accounts is a MUST
  • Experience working with athletes, celebrities, creators, or premium entertainment brands is a MUST
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, platform trends, and audience growth
  • Excellent copywriting skills and an instinct for brand tone of voice
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel and weekend work
  • Experience within elite sport or motorsport is highly desirable
