Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded HVAC-R leader who combines deep technical expertise with a strong ability to influence customers, consultants, and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing cooling solutions, leading international teams, and driving specification-led business growth within the HVAC-R industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the global HVAC-R Solution Development team, driving technical excellence and market impact.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key HVAC-R consultants, specifiers, and industry influencers worldwide.
  • Act as the primary interface between consultants, Front-End Sales, Solution Engineering, and Product Development.
  • Drive the development of innovative cooling solution concepts and influence project specifications early in the design phase.
  • Support quote/no-quote decisions and ensure technical qualification of RFQs prior to handover to Solution Engineering.
  • Represent Kelvion in customer and consultant engagements, providing technical expertise and solution guidance.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for product enhancements and future development initiatives.
  • Drive specification influence, consultant engagement, and solution adoption to support business growth and strengthen Kelvion's market position.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Thermodynamics, Refrigeration, Heat Transfer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in thermodynamics, cooling solutions, heat transfer technologies, or HVAC-R applications, including at least 3 years in the HVAC-R industry.
  • Proven experience leading and developing international technical or engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC-R systems, cooling concepts, thermodynamics, and refrigeration technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing project specifications, developing consultant networks, and supporting commercial growth through solution-based engagement.
  • Experience working with consultants, specification-driven projects, and customer-facing technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organization and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-products environment is highly desirable.
