Job Title: Head of Solutions Sales
Salary: £78,000 plus an excellent benefits package
Location: Southeast region – Purfleet, Gatwick, Stansted, Maidstone, South Mimms

About the Role
An opportunity for an experienced people leader to make a significant contribution to our Southeast region’s sales performance. Reporting into the Regional Director, you will be responsible for all sales activity within the Southeast region, coaching and developing our sales colleagues and ensuring customer expectations are managed and subsequently met to ultimately drive the region to meet its targets.
As Head of Solution Sales, you will oversee all New Sales, Used Sales and Service Sales, as well as Sales Administration. The position plays an intentionally pivotal role in leading all aspects of sales, allowing you to positively influence the journey for all customers within your region.
You will have the ability to influence key stakeholders, collaborating with both your region and Head Office, ultimately delivering the regions sales results through your team and those around you by the growth of existing customers and a hunger to win new business.
In this role you will:
- Lead, motivate and develop the sales teams for New Truck, Used Truck, Services, and Parts to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives and market opportunities.
- Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that meet customer needs across all product and service lines.
- Collaborate with marketing, aftersales, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximise cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales teams to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.

About You
- Established people leader – a proven record coaching, managing and delivering through large teams.
- Strategically minded – experience creating, improving and delivering a successful strategy on a broad scale.
- Customer focussed – passionate about the customer journey and experience, whilst being able to pro-actively manage customer expectations, creating mutual respect and alignment.
- Influencer – able to influence key stakeholders in your region to make positive changes, that will positively improve the customer journey.
