Head of Sponsorship
Head of Sponsorship Salary: Up to £65k + bonus + equity options Location: Hybrid - HQ Berlin - can be based anywhere across Europe!
Ark is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly scaling European organisation operating at the intersection of business, innovation, and industry. Through a combination of industry events, strategic partnerships, and membership programmes, the organisation has built a highly engaged ecosystem of businesses, investors, and senior decision makers, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration and commercial growth across technology led and innovation focused sectors.
Following significant growth and increasing demand from partners across Europe, they are now looking for a commercially driven Head of Sponsorship to play a key role in expanding revenue, developing strategic relationships, and supporting the next phase of business growth.
The Role As a Head of Sponsorship, you will be responsible for driving commercial revenue through the sale and management of strategic partnerships, sponsorships, memberships, and bespoke commercial solutions.
Key responsibilities include: Own and deliver partnership, sponsorship, membership, and commercial revenue targets. Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through to negotiation, contract signature, and renewal. Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across corporates, investors, scale ups, and wider industry networks. Creating tailored commercial solutions aligned to partner objectives and business goals. Managing and growing existing partner accounts through renewals, upselling opportunities, and long term relationship development. Collaborating with leadership to refine commercial packages, partnership offerings, pricing strategies, and revenue models. Maintaining accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting Working cross functionally with marketing, content, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful delivery of partner commitments Contributing to the development of commercial processes and best practices as the business scales. Representing the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities across Europe.

About You You're a commercially minded partnerships or business development professional who enjoys building relationships, creating value for clients, and driving revenue growth within a fast-paced environment.
4+ years experience within partnerships, sponsorship sales, business development, account management, or B2B commercial roles. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Experience managing full sales cycles and complex stakeholder relationships. Strong account management skills with a focus on renewals, retention, and account growth. Ability to develop consultative, solution led commercial proposals. Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers across corporate and investment communities Experience using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and build strategic partnerships Self motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating within a high growth environment Interest in innovation, technology, or emerging technology sectors would be advantageous.
