The Company
Our client has a strong and diversified presence in film, television, home entertainment and digital distribution.
The Role
As the Head of Statutory Reporting and Audit, you will be responsible for leading the company’s end-to-end statutory reporting, audit delivery and regulatory compliance across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead statutory reporting, year-end accounts and external audits.
- Maintain financial records, controls, tax compliance and regulatory filings.
- Manage royalty reporting and audits, ensuring timely delivery.
- Monitor IFRS, US GAAP and UK tax developments.
- Support cash flow forecasting and management reporting.
- Partner with legal, commercial, tax and external advisors on reporting and compliance.
- Support new deals and acquisitions with the Group Reporting Team.
- Lead the reporting and finance team while supporting the EVP of Finance.

The Person
With extensive experience in statutory reporting, audit management and leading finance teams, you should bring a strong track record of delivering accurate reporting within a complex, multinational organisation.
As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), you will demonstrate deep technical knowledge across US GAAP, IFRS and UK tax legislation, alongside hands-on experience managing VAT, Corporation Tax and regulatory submissions. You should be confident managing external audits, preparing statutory accounts and liaising with regulatory bodies, with advanced Excel capability and ideally some exposure to SAP.
