A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Strategic Planning, you will lead the development and execution of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) strategy, ensuring business demand, operational capability, and long-term growth plans remain aligned. Working closely with senior leaders across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing, you'll translate business strategy into actionable plans that drive performance, improve forecasting, and support informed decision-making.

Leading a specialist planning team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our business has the capacity, resources, and operational readiness to meet customer demand while supporting sustainable growth.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring business plans align with operational capability and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Develop demand, capacity, and resource planning strategies that support business growth and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and senior leadership teams to optimise planning processes and drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain capacity models that ensure the business can successfully deliver current and future customer demand.
  • Monitor and report key planning and operational performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and business performance.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing strategic planning team focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree would be advantageous.
  • Significant experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), strategic planning, supply chain, or operations management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience developing forecasting, capacity planning, and business performance models.
  • Experience using SAP and planning systems to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
