Are you ready to shape procurement strategy and drive business performance across a leading industrial organisation?
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Strategic Procurement for Electrium/Electrical Products, playing a pivotal role in delivering commercial value, strengthening supplier partnerships, and supporting the long-term success of the business. You’ll lead procurement strategy, champion continuous improvement, and work collaboratively across multiple functions to ensure a resilient and high-performing supply chain.
You’ll make a difference by
- Developing and delivering strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives and evolving market conditions.
- Leading supplier relationships and negotiations, securing favourable commercial terms and driving sustainable value creation.
- Driving procurement performance and cost optimisation through savings initiatives and KPI management.
- Strengthening supply chain resilience through proactive risk management and continuity planning.
- Collaborating across the business with production, planning, product management, finance, and technical teams.
- Leading and developing a high-performing procurement team.

We’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship development.
- Deep understanding of sourcing strategies, supply chain dynamics, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
This role is open to those with the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
It would be great if you had, but this is not essential:
- Proven experience leading procurement teams and delivering successful procurement strategies
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems, procurement platforms, and analytics tools.
- Experience driving procurement digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to complex supply chain environments.
- High adaptability in a fast-paced business environment.
