The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Strategic Resourcing

At the Crown Prosecution Service, we are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales, the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. About the role

As Head of Strategic Resourcing, you lead end-to-end resourcing strategy and delivery, promoting fair and effective recruitment practices. You are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain and grow our workforce, supporting long-term organisational capability. You are accountable for the performance of both high-volume and specialist recruitment campaigns, ensuring recruitment activity is inclusive and capable of delivering at scale.

About you

We’re looking for someone with significant experience of leading large-scale recruitment operations in complex organisations. A strong understanding of resourcing technology and ways to optimise the use of this to support delivery is essential. You must be a Chartered member of Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), or be prepared to start working towards that within 12 months of taking up appointment.
