Head of Strategy

Department: 21-492 - COO - Commercial & Corporate Strategy

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: UK - London

Description

This is a brand-new opportunity for a Head of Strategy to support long-term revenue growth of our channels business.

You will play a highly visible role within a fast-paced and dynamic team, supporting senior leadership in evaluating strategic initiatives, rights opportunities, and commercial performance across key properties including NFL Game Pass, NHL.TV, NCAA College Sports, and Rally TV.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support rights valuation, pricing strategy, and business case development
  • Support the ongoing performance analysis of our Channels business, identifying growth opportunities, and areas for optimization
  • Develop executive-ready presentations for internal leadership, board materials, and rightsholder discussions
  • Assist in evaluating new rights opportunities, including financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and deal structuring/negotiation support
  • Conduct market analysis to inform go-to-market, pricing, and packaging recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Operations to assess commercial initiatives and track performance
  • Support onboarding and integration planning for new rights and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to M&A analysis and strategic investment assessments

What You'll Bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or in-house strategy
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills (financial forecasting, scenario modelling, valuation analysis)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive-level materials
  • Demonstrable experience utilizing strategic analytical skills, including financial modelling and forecasting, market situation / trend analyses, scenario planning, go to market / roll out plans and operational feasibility assessments
  • The ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required
  • An understanding and interest in the sports and broader media industries
