Description
Lead and shape a high-impact data driven, student recruitment strategy that will drive growth in applications, and conversion across all undergraduate and postgraduate markets and across all Bath Spa University campus’. This senior role within the Future Students Directorate, partners with academic and professional services leaders to deliver data-driven, university-wide recruitment success aligned to Strategy 2035. (This is a part-time 0.8 role)
About the Role
Partner with Academic Schools to deliver student recruitment targets aligned to institutional growth. Drive the development and execution of innovative student recruitment and conversion strategies across undergraduate and postgraduate markets. Build strong, credible relationships with senior stakeholders to enable a joined-up, institution-wide approach to student recruitment. Leverage data, market insight and competitor intelligence to shape strategy and deliver evidence-based decisions. Analyse application, offer and intake data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and take timely action. Work collaboratively across the Future Students directorate to deliver compelling, high-impact campaigns and activities. Manage and optimise relationships with external agencies and partners to maximise recruitment performance. Woking with Senior leaders across the Future Students directorate, develop and oversee tailored, School-level recruitment plans supported by clear reporting and insights. Communicate performance, insights and strategic recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders. Influence admissions processes and entry requirements to support achievement of recruitment targets.

About You
Extensive and recent experience in developing and leading strategic recruitment plans to achieve targets and deliver excellent customer service. Proven experience in analysing and interpreting complex data and information to inform strategy and planning. Proven report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to share complex information to a wide range of audiences Demonstrated ability to work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, build strong relationships, understand differing perspectives, resolve challenging issues, and tailor communication to specific audiences. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of people at all levels in a personable and confident way A relevant postgraduate or professional qualification Experience of working within a marketing or recruitment environment Experience of working within an education setting

Additional Information
Salary Grade 8A - Starting from £ 39,058 rising to £ 45,228 per annum pro rata £48,823 - £ 56,536
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The nature of the role means that some evening and weekend working will be required. The arrangement of working hours will be agreed in advance with the relevant line manager.

All members of the Future Students are expected to support cross-University events such as student recruitment activities, Graduations, Clearing,and similar, as appropriate. This may require occasional weekend and evening working.
Please note this is a part time role 0.8 FTE
