An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to join a successful and fast-paced FMCG organisation.
Operating in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, this role will take full responsibility for the leadership and performance of the Planning, Procurement and Warehouse functions, ensuring products are delivered to customers efficiently, cost-effectively and in full.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive supply chain strategy, optimise operational performance and lead a team focused on delivering best-in-class service across the business.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing and executing the supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment between customer demand, inventory availability, supplier performance and warehouse operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Supply Chain Leadership
- Lead and develop the Planning, Procurement and Warehouse teams.
- Create and deliver a supply chain strategy that supports business growth and customer service objectives.
- Establish a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment across the business.

Planning & S&OP
- Own the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP processes.
- Drive forecast accuracy and improve inventory performance.
- Balance service levels, availability and working capital objectives.
- Develop effective reporting and KPI frameworks to support decision-making.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Lead sourcing and procurement strategies across direct and indirect spend categories.
- Build strong supplier relationships to maximise service, quality and value.
- Deliver cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
- Mitigate supply risks through robust supplier performance management and contingency planning.
Warehouse Operations
- Lead warehouse operations to deliver industry-leading service, productivity and accuracy.
- Ensure inventory integrity and stock accuracy across the network.
- Champion health, safety and operational compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to optimise processes, systems and supply chain performance.
- Lead supply chain improvement and digital transformation projects.
- Utilise data and analytics to improve decision-making and operational outcomes.
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the function.

About You
- Significant experience in a senior Supply Chain leadership position.
- Strong expertise across Planning, Procurement and Warehouse Operations.
- Proven experience leading S&OP processes within an FMCG, food, beverage, consumer goods or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A track record of improving service levels, inventory performance and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- Experience leading business change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
