About Ideal Direct
Ideal Direct is a privately owned, multi-brand consumer products business shipping across the UK, Europe and the US. We own and operate nine brands across pest control, health and wellbeing, homewares, DIY and jewellery, sold primarily through Amazon, eBay, B&Q and TikTok Shop.
We're approaching £15m revenue with a clear plan to reach £100m by 2030. This is a pivotal role at a pivotal moment — the person who joins now will shape the supply chain function that carries us there.
The Role
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an experienced supply chain operator who wants to build something, not just run something.
As Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, you'll take full ownership of a broad and commercially important function: Amazon FBA replenishment across UK and EU, inventory management and demand planning, China supplier relationships and QC, 3PL and freight management, and the day-to-day performance of our Rochester warehouse operation.
You'll lead a team of four direct reports with real potential, and you'll work closely with our Director of Finance and Operations to build the infrastructure and operating model that a £100m business needs.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be in the detail, driving standards and building capability while keeping one eye firmly on where the business is going.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
