Role Description
The Head of Supply Chain Management is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This position leads end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations, including planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution to ensure reliable, cost-effective service. The role oversees day-to-day performance management, sets KPIs, and drives continuous improvement in logistics processes, inventory control, and supplier relationships. The Head of Supply Chain Management collaborates closely with operations, commercial, and customer-facing teams to support contract growth, service-level excellence, and capacity optimisation. The role also includes leading and developing a multidisciplinary team, managing key stakeholders, and aligning supply chain initiatives with broader business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management, including end-to-end planning, logistics, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Operations Management with experience optimizing warehouse, distribution, and fulfilment processes.
- Demonstrated capability in Procurement, supplier management, and cost optimisation within a commercial framework.
- Proven Team Leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and building high-performing teams.
- Commitment to excellent Customer Service, with a track record of meeting service-level agreements and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Experience in 3PL, e-fulfilment, or logistics environments, ideally at senior leadership level.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with comfort using data and KPIs to guide actions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across commercial and operational teams.
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with supply chain technologies, WMS/TMS systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
